A breezy summer morning...
Sitting on the lake shore, my eyes gaze deep into the horizon. The water is calm, the sun is warm, the blue is bluer and the green is greener... Looking at each and every blade of grass, each and every craftily rounded stone, each and every little wave, slow-moving clouds – every thing is so amazing, so perfectly made...
I am finally still, a listener of what my heart has to say.
It is a rich beginning of a new day, a bathed in light and glorious abundance new day. How it is going to unfold and how I decide to use it is wholly up to me. Am I going to make this day a perfect part of my summer story – depends entirely on me... Because every summer has a story and now I am creating one...
It is a rich beginning of a new day, a bathed in light and glorious abundance new day. How it is going to unfold and how I decide to use it is wholly up to me. Am I going to make this day a perfect part of my summer story – depends entirely on me... Because every summer has a story and now I am creating one...
Sometimes, I think, it is enough for a story... to just "be"... to just feel... to just let the precious moment become me... I am a kite, taking flight over the water... The peacefulness of the early morning is the lift, the upward force that pushes me into the air... I am going to take "these broken wings and learn to fly again, learn to live so free..." The wind is helping...
This day is a gift.
And I am grateful.
This day is the most amazing day to just "be".
Today is going to be a good summer day.
Today is going to be a good summer day.
Enough
Enough. These few words are enough.
If not these words, this breath.
If not this breath, this sitting here.
This opening to the life
we have refused
again and again
until now.
Until now

And YOU always select was is ENOUGH. No more, no less. Simplicity is not equated with less, but with what IS ENOUGH.
ReplyDeleteYour photos....honestly, they take my breath away dearest Sylvia. The quality of them is beyond my abilities but they welcome me into a place where I am welcomed. THANK YOU. So good to finally be back on-line after three glorious days on the lake shore of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Total bliss just BEING.

HOW WONDERFUL to see your comment as I was just checking to see if anyone visited me! Thank you my friend for your beautiful words...there are those of us who see MORE in just a blank wall, an empty canvas and in a silent moment. May simplicity live on, and I intend to celebrate MINE in my writing because you come to a point in your life when you realized, "This is me, I'm not fancy, but I'm who I am. It's enough!"
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely evening, Anita
